Schering-Plough Animal Health

Company:
Schering-Plough Animal Health
Challenge:
LePoidevin Marketing was charged with helping to increase sales of canine flea and tick treatment Defend EXspot® at retail giants Sam’s Club and Costco.
Solution:
Due to the increasing competition from strong national brands within the market, LePoidevin Marketing saw the need to create new, unique packaging which more prominently displayed the product. The agency worked closely with the senior product manager and corporate manufacturing professionals to develop the packaging while significantly reducing the packaging costs. Additionally, a new and versatile pallet display was designed and engineered to help increase sell-through.
Results:
Schering-Plough realized an increase in sales while also reducing their product packaging and display costs. Not only was Defend EXspot sold in more stores across the nation, but overall sales increased over previous years.
