Flexco Makes a Lasting Impact on sales team and distributors
As Flexco prepared to unveil its new line of DRX impact beds to the coal, mining and material handling industries, the ompany needed a marketing program to generate interest. A new DRX campaign would be integral to help the sales force and distributors understand the key selling points in distinguishing the line among competing products.
LePoidevin Marketing designed a campaign that included a mix of advertisements, PR, collateral and electronic components to increase awareness among targeted audiences in a mature and highly competitive marketplace. The second part of the DRX launch campaign was designed to engage the sales force and distributors in facilitating and accelerating sales prior to the official launch.
“How to make a lasting impact on your customers” was the message on a mailer sent to the sales force and distributors. The mailer contained several collateral pieces showcasing the features, benefits, applications, installation and service attributes of the four DRX impact beds, as well as fun items such as a hard hat and stickers to create excitement about the new products.
When the 75 mailer and selling tool kits were unveiled at a sales meeting prior to the launch at ConExpo, it received a rousing round of applause from the sales and management teams. Flexco asked us to create another 380 kits for the distributor network. The mailer was credited with achieving 33 percent of the targeted annual sales goal prior to the launch. Additionally, many members of the sales force called the DRX launch campaign the most significant and impressive in Flexco’s history.
